About Die ou Meul Gastehuis
The guesthouse is on a working applefarm, situated in the upper Langkloof valley, halfway between George(65km)/Oudtshoorn(80km) and Uniondale in the Western Cape. It is a farmstay.
The homestead is the ideal retreat family cottage, overlooking a dam and the beauiful Kammanasie mountains. The house was build in the mid 1800's and has beautiful yellowwood ceilings and origan pine floors. It was fully renovated in 4 spacious bedrooms. The bathroom have a shower and bathtap and a separate toilet.
The vintage decor and furniture gives a warm, welcome feeling and take you back .
The livingroom consists of sitting area with fireplace and a 10 seater dinning table. Ideal for wonderful times with good food, friends or playing games around the dinning table. Relax on the stoep with a beautiful view of the dam and mountains. Enjoy a braai outside.
Fully equiped kitchen with table for a good family time.
There is somethimg for everyone, birding, mountain biking, hiking, swimming in a dam, experience farm live or just chilling.

From George take the N9 over Outeniqua pass, follow the road for 65km from the last traffic circle in George till you reach Molen river bridge turn right at the gravel road with the sign Du Toit Agri Meulrivier. Follow the gravel road through the electric gate for 1.5km into the farm.
From PE/Langkloof follow the road to Joubertina. From Joubertina follow the R62 for 75km till the N9 t-junction. Turn right to George and follow the road for 25km. Turn left at the Du Toit Agri Meulrivier sign. Follow the gravel road through the electric gate for 1.5km into the farm.
