Uniondale to Haarlem via De Hoop Road
From Uniondale, go through the Uniondale Poort towards Avontuur.
Turn left onto the dirt road clearly signposted “De Hoop”, with a Mountain Pastures sign.
Stop in at the Boer War memorial on the corner, and please close the gates as this is in private property.
The de Hoop Road goes all the way to the R62 at The Klip Hotel near Haarlem.
