Conveniently situated on the main road through the quiet and
picturesque Karoo dorp of Uniondale, Swanze Gat Guest House
is the only double storey guest house in town.
Dating from the turn of the 19th/20th century and originally
a hostel for the local school, the building has been
restored and converted so that it can house up to fourteen
guests.
Accommodation
Swanze Gat offers one self-contained apartment with two twin
bedrooms and its own bathroom.
Additionally there are two double en-suite bedrooms and two
double bedrooms and one twin, sharing a bathroom.
There is an upstairs guest lounge opening onto the balcony
from which one can look over the town.
Entertainment
There is a
huge entertainment area with a well-stocked licensed bar and
a pool table.
