List your establishment

If you have a tourism related business in Uniondale or the district in general, you can apply to be listed on the www.uniondale.co.za website.

This will give you :

1.  A listing on a page under an appropriate category with a small photo, a short paragraph of text and contact particulars, and

2.  A "More Info" page with a pageful of text and 6 or so enlargeable photographs.  There will also be your contact details, a link to your website if you have one, a list of other options offered, a list of facilities offered, languages (other than South African languages) spoken, your accreditations (such as Star grading, AA grading etc), and a link to your on-line booking service if you have one.

The listings on the listing pages rotate every time the page is viewed so as to give every establishment its turn at the top of the list.

This gives you a considerable presence (almost as good as a website of your own) on a site which has for a long time been No 1 on Google when searching for "Uniondale".  It is also steadily growing in content and interest and, in this regard, we welcome contributions which can add to what the site offers.

The cost for such a listing is only R300 a year, payable in advance to ZAWebs.

To help you provide us with the fullest information we need, we have made a form on which you can complete all the information necessary for a listing with the exception of the text for the More Info page (because you can put so much information on this page).  We suggest you put this in a Word document and send it to us together with the form.

Please forward the photos which you would like to appear in high quality and at least 700 px wide.  The reason for this is, the better the quality of the photo we start with, the better the photo we finally put on the site.

Our policy regarding listings

Each establishment should choose the main category it wishes to be listed under.  Any other options offered will be listed on the More Info page.  Some of the larger tourism portals sites do allow multiple listings for one establishment but Uniondale is a small place with not very many establishments listed; allowing duplicate listings would make the site look ridiculous and lower its credibility in the eyes of visitors to the detriment of everyone.

The site already has a choice of areas and types of establishment.  If you feel that none of these provides for your needs, you may make a suggestion to us.  We reserve the right, however, to make the final decision as to whether or not to introduce a new category.  We shall definitely not entertain ploys to create a category solely for the purpose of a particular establishment to be the only one listed in that category.  For example, we already have a category "Guest Houses/B&B"; we will not create categories such as "Historical Guest House", "Thatched Roof Guest House", "Olde English Guest House" and so on.

ZA Webs reserves the right to decide whether or not to list a business applying for a listing.

ZA Webs reserves the right to suspend a listing in the event of non-payment therefor.
